As there is importance of a nation in
the existence of a state, in the same way a territory is also important for the
state. Because a territory is a must to make a perpetual state. If nation,
mother tongue and traditions are present but territory not then it is difficult
for a state to survive or move. As nomadic tribes who keep on moving from one
place to another could not create a whole state and are not even able to
create. Similarly in the 13th
century the Mongols conquest a large area of the world but couldn’t reside continuously
due to which after a few years after the death of
Genghis
Khan the whole circle of the Mongol Empire was dismissed and the Mongol tribes
were not only deprived in creating a new state but also left their name, fame
and existence even in mingling up with other nations.
This should be clear that as the
population’s limitations are impossible to be bounded, same areas of a state
too. A state is always changed from small too big and vice versa due to area.
Today, this attention is common from
making a state from better to best and it is correctly said and should be done
too. Because a state is a strong power and when this power decreases or is
less, it will itself become a problem for the state. The reason behind making a
state more powerful is defense of the country, self employing and natural
resources. Although there should be a
proper balance in between the area and the population.
